On October 6, 2026, the Midwifery Department of the Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Health Sciences organized an orientation program to support first-year students—who have just joined the department for the 2026-2027 academic year—in adapting to university and departmental life.
Held at the Faculty of Health Sciences Conference Hall, the program introduced students to the university, the faculty, and the department, while providing information on educational processes, academic operations, and university life.
Aimed at facilitating the students' adaptation to both academic and social environments, the program offered new students the opportunity to get to know the department better and gain insight into their educational journey. At the conclusion of the program, students' questions were answered, and any points of curiosity were clarified.
