The Ondokuz Mayıs University Midwifery Society organized an event titled "Life Through the Eyes of Women, from the Perspective of Midwives" as part of the March 8th International Women's Day celebrations.
The event included activities such as bag painting, object painting, and clay workshops, creating an environment that supported participants' artistic expression skills. The event, conducted with the active participation of midwifery students, aimed to raise awareness about women's health and their place in society.
The program emphasized that the midwifery profession is not only a clinical role but also a significant area of responsibility in terms of social sensitivity and strengthening women's health. Participants were given the opportunity to express their own experiences through the production processes, creating a learning environment based on solidarity and awareness.
The event was considered to have contributed to increasing social awareness of women's health and strengthening the social aspect of the midwifery profession.
